The genius of DJ JG has been nice enough to work some magic on the tune Blackeye.
The “Bloody Nose” Remix it’s called. I like that
But remix doesn’t even cover this one - it’s more like a cover version or reinterpretation in a dance stylee.
ENJOY
EDIT III try this wee jobber.

EDIT Updated remote host
EDIT II I hate remote file hosting ball bags. You don’t know just how shit they are until you upload the file and click the link. I’ll try and stick it up on Bebo or something.

West Belfast Festival Fringe gig :)

Not really having a go at the Feile Committee here, but just making the most of the crowds up west during Feile week. This gig is at the same time as the Four of Us show in the Marquee, but as the Marquee only holds 300 bums this year, this is your alternative/preferred choice.
Tickets aren’t in Kelly’s just yet, but should be available by the weekend - saves ye a quid if you buy in advance
See also the show the Vals are organising for the 8th with Henry McCullough in support of an Autism Charity - looks good too

TPO are confirmed to play at the first ever Stendhal Festival near Limavady. The event was granted it’s license despite opposition from troglodyte local councillors about the obscenity of having music on the SABBATH, dear me!
The exact slot has yet to be confirmed but we’ll keep you posted!
With acts like Delorentos, Yakuza and loads more big names to be confirmed this will be a cracker weekend.

Class weekend there at the Blueroom with Pete at the console and us four, sweating like chessplayers laying down the bones of track after track in the live room.
Injuries sustained included blisters the size of Maltesers; a bout of cabin fever, cured only by a litre of brown lemonade and some All Bran; an unfortunate attempted rectal insertion of a fender headstock and a drum stick which actually passed clean through someones cranial space, ear to ear - something you have to witness.
Despite the casualty rate we achieved a hell of a lot in terms of tracks down. Working live all in the room is an incredibly intense experience and a bit of a technical challenge but the results are great. Now for the overdubs, vocals and other bits and pieces that will gel the whole thing together.
Great stuff
Let the madness begin!

Performers
Ocean Colour Scene
Ocean Colour Scene have been one of Britain’s top folk-rock acts for the last 15 years, with 12 albums, 11 Top 20 singles and countless tours under their belts. They released their latest single, Go To Sea, last month.
David Holmes
David Holmes is in many ways synonymous with Belfast’s clubbing scene, having been the driving force behind the now legendary Shine. He has gained international prominence as a DJ and composer, most notably through his contributions to the Ocean’s 11 series of soundtracks.
Foy Vance
Foy Vance can only be described as unique. From playing pubs in Bangor, he is now firmly established on the international stage. He has just completed his first album, Hope, and is currently working with David Holmes.
Bap Kennedy
Bap Kennedy, formerly lead singer with The Energy Orchard, has forged a highly successful solo career, ranking the likes of The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Mark Knopfler among his fans. His latest album, The Big Picture, features contributions from Van Morrison and Shane Magowan.
Tin Pot Operation
West Belfast indie-punk quartet Tin Pot Operation formed in 2003 and released their debut album, Manufacturing Dissent, shortly afterwards. Currently working on their new album, they have established a reputation as one of the few non-traditional bands to perform in the Irish language.
YEEEOOOOO!!!
The observant amongst you will of course know that we only have 2 songs in the Irish language, which is unusual enough, but anyone expecting a gaeligeor set will be disappointed
Actually thinking about I reckon Adam Simms, Phil Donaldson and Rod Martin would be a bit concerned to learn that it was Homer who singlehandedly invented Shine too
