Ha, millions going on at TPO Ground Zero the last while, been neglecting the old site as we were hoping for a bit of a revamp to try and sort out the ridiculous amount of entirely perverted spam the site seems to attract. Maybe I just look like the kind of guy interested in donkeys in "that" way! Here's a brief run down of stuff that's gone down since my last post. New photies A new photoshoot by the lovely Carrie Davenport, that was BLOODY FREEZING but really good fun. Thanks to yer man on his way to the Sports Bar at 11am on a Sunday for his input! Wouldn't be the Dunville Park without some mental case :-) More of her stuff at http://blog.carriedavenport.com/ A lot of acoustic gigs for a big departure, including a special appearance at the non-profit Common Grounds café for the lovely Karen, and a great session at the Songs of Protest event in the Oh Yeah Centre Belfast. www.commongrounds.co.uk http://www.ohyeahbelfast.com/ Then to go along with that we did another little acoustic session and interview for the Hearts and Minds about the importance of Protest Music, which can be looked at here on Stuart Bailie's Blog http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/stuartbailie/2009/02/hearts_minds_and_songs.shtml Off to Galway soon too for a gig in Sally Longs on the 27th Feb. Oh and we've got a release date in mind for the album, hmmm, let's see.
How's about March 2nd? Aye, sweet as. See yas about then! Oh aye, great review of the album on www.sobriquetmagazine.com/music/2008/12/tin-pot-operation.html a bizarrely erudite US punk blog, that also seems to cater for critical theory of mid 20th Century American Literature.
